Naskh Course

Naskh is a cursive style of writing that has roundness to the characters. From the scholars of Islamic history, it is evident that Naskh script was developed in 310 AH and up to now it is being used for copying the Holy Quran.

This name- Naskh – was assigned to it because it negated all the other forms of writing and began copying the Quran as well as other books. Naskh was developed as a result of rigidity of Kufic and because of the freedom of its hand movement style. It is still being used for copying the Holy Quran.
